Digital Scrapbooking

OK, I know this is totally geeky, crafty and nerdy….but I LOVE the new digital scrapbooking I have been doing!  I have Photo Impact Pro to manage and work on photos and I recently discovered I could do digital scrapbooking with it.

I was working with Shutterfly over the summer and I liked it, but I couldn’t do some of the things I wanted to.  My biggest pet peave is that you can only put wording in certain places.  I wanted to be able to put in as much as I wanted and write at an angle or over the pictures.

I download a bunch of freebies over the weekend, but I am very excited about the pages I did from some photos I had.  My only problem is it takes me a couple of hours to do a page because I am very picky about how I want it to look.

I like the way the writing looks like grafitiI actually messed these up by making the resolution too low

The background was all one picture that I cropped in half to create two different photos.  then I enlarged them.  So in my photo album this will cover two pages.  Unfortunately, I didn’t check my resolution before I saved them together, so on a photo page they aren’t very clear.  But that made them small enough for me to be able to post them here!

AWESOME!! Much cooler than what I did. But I would never have the patience to spend a couple of hours on a page. Go Christina!!

I should probably amend the time thing. I am usually in there for a couple of hours to make pages, but part of that time is spent watching tv. I think I’m really working hard, but I would bet that I am hardly working.

It’s hard work to watch tv and scrapbook at the same time…

I too want to wish to a happy birthday. I told a bunch of 8th graders that tomorrow was your birthday, but they were not impressed.

Happy Birthday Weekend! I hope you get to do whatever it is that makes you most happy! :)

I love you scrapbooking Christina! I think this is a step towards the conversion of the paper record into the digital record. I have great memories of the river walk, San Antonio and the exquisite Mexican food that you can get in that part of Texas. Can you tell me about the DC plans?
