I was going through our pictures from Christmas and wanted to share our wonderful meal with everyone.

That reminds me of when Death comes to visit in the Meaning of Life.

I had forgotten about that! HA! I just thought it would be a funny picture.
We had our traditional cornish game hens. It became a tradition when I did my first bone marrow transplant, part of the rules we had to live by were that I couldn’t eat after anyone else had touched the food. So I had to guess how much of anything I wanted to eat and take that out of the pan first. To solve this problem at Christmas, we each had our own individual birds. Everyone seemed to like it, and it became our families Christmas menu.

So that’s what charger plates are for! I always wondered about that.
Hehehe

And you thought they were just decorations! Actually, they are to make the plates feel taller. Our plates have short plate syndrome. Hehe

Short plate syndrome – is there a support group for that?
Do you always drink your wine with a straw?

We like cornish hens too. they’re good meat, unlike some of the store-bought chicken, and not too expensive like some of the organic stuff.

oh, the straw – it’s the posh thing, didn’t you know? You’ll notice I have two, because I’m special!

I thought the tiny birds might be to make you feel like giants “Fe fi fo fum….”
