containing huodini
Sun ,25/01/2009We thought we were getting a nice little family dog, but little did we know that our dog is part lasapso and part huodini!Â
Yes, she’s small, yes our fence was in really bad shape, but she managed to get of every one of our temporary fixes!
She would get between the fences and run down to where they ended and go out to the front of the houses. Almost everytime we put her in the back yard, one of our nice neighbors would bring her home.
So down came the old yucky fence. It wasn’t so bad because it was only held to the support post by about 16 nails per section. We had to remove the boards blocking the supports, but the rest was pretty simple.
Can you believe the subdivision behind ours REQUIRED the home owners to build seperate fences. They could not attach to our fences.  (probably because the owners in this subdivision were assured that there was a green belt behind the subdivision and no one would be allowed to build back there! So much for going green!)
So, after a day of slaving in the heat (well, it was pretty nice that day.) I present our new fence. We actually only did the back of the yard. The other sides are still ok, and we share those with the neighbors, so if we want to replace them we have to get agreement from the neighbor.
I also found some chicken wire that is made of plastic to line the stairs to keep her from getting out that way!
