Renaissance Festival
We had a fun weekend a couple of weeks ago at the Ren Fest NEAR Houston. Well it may have been closer to Houston than to us, but still not really close. We did all of the typical Ren Fest stuff – watched shows, ate food, shopped, ate food, watched shows, ate food.
Brit had a beautiful costume that she helped to sew herself.
Paul and I went in costume as well. They had the prettiest cathedral. It was the outer bones with an open roof and ivy has grown up all over it. Truely remarkable!
I had to get this picture. It was just too fun!

We’ve been there! It’s been some time since we’ve been to one. We’ll have to do that this year… or next. Looks like you had a great time!

I’m used to the festival in Kansas, but this place just went on and on. We would think we were at the end and turn a corner and there was a whole other group of shops/eateries.
It was so much fun! You should come to visit in the fall to go with us! Next year we are camping and staying the whole weekend!

That’s my favorite kind of Festival. I always thought the one in KC was a pretty good one. Is it odd to have everyone talk with a Texas Accent?

I thought my brittish accent was bad, but now I think I sound pretty spiffy!

Must be a princess you have there. Someday we are going to get to one of those. Great pictures.
