Volleyball Season
I am soooo looking forward to volleyball season next year. After just six years of owning my camera, I finally found out how to adjust the shutter speed so I can actually take an action photo. My camera only goes up to 400, but the newer ones will do 1600, which I guess is used to take pictures of jets or something as the 400 will take a picture of a person doing jumping jacks.
Here are some of my crappy action shots, but it’s all I’ve got right now.

She is a stud-muffin! Like her mama…

Oh – she is MUCH, MUCH better than me! She can get most of her arm above the net when she jumps. She goes around the lower level of the house trying to touch the ceiling (which she has acomplished a couple of times) – it’s 9′.

She lookes ready to take on the volleyball world. Do the boys all come to see her play?

Wow… 9′ that is impressive!!! I remember going to watch you play volleyball, you could hit a “knuckle serve” which I always found quite impressive. That ball would barely rotate as it went over the net giving it some very cool “behaviors” as it travelled.
Amazing what you can remember when something likes this pops up.

I can’t believe you remember that! Ahhhh, highschool… so many fond memories…so much bad hair!

You didn’t like 80’s big hair? I loved it!! Back then all the massively teased hair and the rolled up acid washed jeans! Those were the days! Now girls just pull all their hair back into pony tails and just don’t care.
Remember what I called your “waterspout”? You had a little ponytail that you created on top of your head that you heavily sprayed that came up and then right back down that resembled a waterspout / fountain?? I’ll see if I can dig up a pic!
