The one that got away.
I don’t usually fish, but I have to show you the fish I caught last week!

You know they do say everything’s bigger in Texas, did I mention we live close to a nuclear facility?

That’s one big, green catfish! Can we have a quarter for size, please? I just want to be sure it’s not a set-up at a museum…
So, what gives? What’s the story?

There is a quarter beside it, can’t you see it?? Actually there is a full size train beside it and a two story building, I thought that would be enough of an indication of the actual size.
It’s actually a weird piece of art in one of the downtown districts. I was down there a couple of months ago for the race for the cure and saw this thing. I had to take a picture. I guess I not only don’t get modern art, I don’t get Texas art either.

My brother has the same complaint (about modern art). I taught the kids when they were little to step back from a piece of art, put their hand on their chin, and say, “It just doesn’t speak to me.” It has served them well!
(I was kidding about the quarter for size…)

I liked the train. The fish would swallow me. I wouldn’t want to gut the thing.
