Easter!
Thu ,01/05/2008I know it’s been over a month since Easter, but since it fell during tax season, I didn’t quite get our pictures up in a timely fashon.
Declan managed to let us sleep until 7am. Thankfully the bunny politely stopped by about 10pm the night before and dropped off the loot or there would have been a very sad little boy.
We also got nice surprises from Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Steve. (Thanks for the Snickers – you know they’re my favorite!)
It’s funny, that crazy bunny decided to poop all over the dining room and living room. Good thing Declan was here to collect all the poops for me!
We all went to church to hear about our risen Lord. Then home for a family picture. The wind picked up a bit while we were away.
We tried a San Antonio tradition and bought some Cascaron’s (they are real egg shells that have been broken only on one end, the egg is taken out, then they are filled with confetti and re-sealed with colorful paper mache)Â You are supposed to break them by hitting one another on the head with an egg.Â
We were going to break these outside, but I’m glad we did it in the kitchen. I don’t know how we would have gotten all of that confetti out of the yard!
