Declan and Fergie went to the Library on Sunday. They read five books and brought five more home to enjoy. They also borrowed a movie about Moses – What fun!!

We have a love-hate relationship with the library. We love it because there are books there we want to read, and we hate getting them back late and having big fines…

We have the same relationship, but we are getting better about taking them back in one week. This works for Declan because his books are quick reads, but Brittney’s don’t always work out so well. Fortunately, she loves to read and can go through a book pretty fast.

It’s good. I said when they were tots that I would do anything to turn them into readers. We bought one hundred Droon books, babysitting club, anything! Now we’re going back to the library, and trying to economize, because the books are much more expensive!

Plus, the number of bookshelves you have to have to house all of them!! We have been downsizing recently, trying to weed out the books we will never read again.
And I found a GREAT half price book store that allows you to set up a credit account for the books you bring in.
