Well,  I finally broke down and bought another phone for the house.  So anyone who has stopped calling us because you can never reach us,  you can start again.

We have been having phone problems for about 6 months now.  First one of our phones stopped, then gradually the others gave out as well.  The batteries stopped taking a charge and I couldn’t find a replacement one that would fit the phones.   

Usually if we answered, we just heard a clicking noise and the person on the other end heard nothing.  So we would just let the answering machine pick up and then we would call people back on our cell phones.  But then the answering machine started acting funny.  So I got the new ones. 

If you would like to call anyone here, feel free.  We will even try to pick up!!

    Y-know, the simple truth is that I rarely call anyone, even my mom. I’m not sure when it was I stopped calling people. It probably had something to do with phone bills or cell phone minutes or some such. Now, I only have a few precious minutes to talk on the cell phone between when Leo picks me up from the metro and when I get home. Then there’s after the Evening Activities, but then I usually want to go to sleep.

    But guess what!? I have no plans this weekend except to get Leo off the plane from Vegas tonight and put him back on one to Colombia tomorrow. So I think I can call.

    Now, will you be home?

    OK, I didn’t see the difference. But then again, I am a math person, not an english person. We are going to Wurstfest tonight (Saturday) but I will be home most of tomorrow as far as I know.
