Teenage girls!!
Mon ,03/09/2007Brittney had a couple of her girlfriends spend part of the weekend with us this weekend. Her friend Stephanie came over Saturday afternoon. We picked her up and before we came back to the house we had to make a couple of pit stops. First we stopped at the “Asia Market” and another oriental place Brittney drives by on the bus every morning. She was dying to stop in, so we went. They thought both stores were neat, I was not so impressed (the market smelled funny).Â
Then we had to stop at Wal-Mart, which was a bit of a mess. I was stopping to return a few items and so got to spend time in the customer service line. When I got to the front and told them I did not have the receipt, I was told that they could not give me a gift card, I would have to exchange the items and to bring my exchange items back to customer service. I really wasn’t planning on shopping, just getting a gift card, so I went to see what I could find. While I shopped the girls wandered around the store. The eventially met me in the fabrics department where they tried on some outfits. After I found some stuff to buy, I went and stood in line to check out. It wasn’t until I was the next person in line that I remembered that I had to go back to customer service to check out. What a trip to Wal-Mart!
We made it home eventially and the girls stayed up late and rented a movie. We all got up for church on Sunday morning and then went to Golden Corral for brunch. The girls were going to go to a movie, but opted to take a nap. They got back up around 2:30 and I took them to the mall, where another friend Tara met us. After a few hours at the mall, we dropped Stephanie off at home and took Tara home with us.
It was an on the go weekend, but I think Brittney had a good time.
