New Job

I am officially done with Cottersville!  I have worked for the past year as the Comptroller (stupid Vice President’s idea of calling the Controller something different because he was the only person allowed to be in control of anything) at Cotter & Sons, Inc.  I was really planning to work until Friday, but was told today at 4pm that I could go ahead and leave my key and spend a few days at home.

What to do first…..  my list could be endless, so here are some of the options:

Go buy a new pair of black heels (my current pair of black heels are opened toed, which is a no-no at my new job)

Go register for a class I need to take at UTSA (the local university)

Go to my new job and pick out which office I would like to call my new home

Take down the tent in the back yard that has been up since, well I think it is August 13th

Re-arrange the office so people will stop piling junk mail on the bed (by people, I really mean me)

write up a bunch of new stuff to put on my blog so I can update it more often

make slide shows out of the gazillion pictures I have taken in the last two years and burn them to DVD’s for my Dad so he has something new to fall asleep to

Paint our bedroom

Put the tables back up in the living room and try to do the 10,000 piece puzzle again

decisions, decisions…….

    One day is a start but it sounds like you may need a year or two. I hope Paul is feeling better! How is Declan enjoying his week of karate?

    Congratulations! I was wondering when the transition was happening. I’m so glad to know you’re done.

    I assume you start back Monday? Here are some things to add to your list this weekend:
    * sleep in
    * have a nap
    * lay around and watch a movie
    * have a glass of wine
    * go to bed early
    * Thank God that your husband was smart enough to go to the hospital before his appendix burst.
