Camping part II
OK, here are some of the pictures from our trip. We had a really good time and learned a few things that we would do differently next time we go. For instance, we learned that it is more difficult than I anticipated to start a fire on the beach and therefore, we will be bringing our little grill with us next time to roast marshmellows over. We also learned that while Port Aransas has at least 3000 visitors each weekend, they can only accomadate about 300 of those to eat between 7pm and 9pm, so we will not be trying to eat out on a Saturday night again. And we learned that we have the coolest tent ever according to our camping neighbors – sort of like the Harry Potter tent that looks way bigger on the inside than the outside. (they were really cute kids!)
So here’s the part you have been waiting for – the pictures:

I love the pictures. It is so much nicer than when we were there. Not so much seaweed has washed up on the shore and the sun is shining and the water looks so much warmer. Lucky you.
The tent doesn’t look as big as the jaws Paul and Declan are standing in.
Give the kids a hug for us. Love you Mom

Doesn’t it make you want to come down for a visit?? Maybe in September???

One thing they can say about you. You are persistant. I got a chuckle out of that.

We now have the September thing under control, but you are welcome to come down anytime you like!
That includes you too Deanne! We like to entertain (it’s the only time the house gets cleaned, so I try to have someone over at least every other month! lol!)

I’m a little crazy that way… careful! Southwest has great fares, and I may just hop on a plane & show up on your doorstep one of these days!! (I’ll help you clean if I forget to call & warn you. Hey; we’ve cleaned together before! It’ll be just like old times…)

And then we can “dress” the bed, because I know from your mom that you can’t “make” the bed, it’s already there!
