Camping

We took the kids down to Port Aransas to go camping this weekend on the beach.   Port Aransas is the northern point of Padre Island.  We wend down Saturday morning and got onto the beach about 2:30 pm.  We got stuck in about an hour long line to take the fairy across to the island, that was about 1pm.

Needless to say, we had a lot of fun playing in the waves and building sandcastles.  Paul and Brittney each built a sand castle.  Apparently Declan’s job was to destroy them (he did a good job!)  We spent a lot of time in the water, we kept saying we were greek with all the spitting we were doing.

We came home this afternoon and are all tuckered out.  I will upload the pictures tomorrow.  Poor Paul came home with a sunburn! Ouch!!

I can’t wait to see the pictures. I know they had a good time. I hope Paul is feeling better.

I’m unfamiliar with spitting Greeks. Is it because of all the gross lamb they have to eat?

You need to rent “My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding”, then you will get the reference. And don’t knock the lamb, not only are sheep fun to ride, but they taste great too!! (Ask your husband about all the lambs he rode/ate as a kid)
