Bathroom update

We have the biggest bathroom ever!  Not only is the room big, but it has 12 foot ceilings which makes it seem even bigger.  But the people who lived here before us painted it olive green (great for shirts, bad for walls).

So Paul and I decided to paint it a pretty periwinkle blue.  I think it makes the room look much bigger and brighter.

While we were painting, I was climbing up the six foot step ladder to do the edging around the ceiling when I lost my balance at the next to top rung.  I fell off the ladder, but lucky for me, Paul was standing almost directly beneath me (not so lucky for him).  Being the super guy that he is, he reached out and caught me so I did not break my neck (or any other body parts).  But he was holding a roller on a long stick and I got a bruise about the size of a dime on my rib from where it hit me.

We were so surprised and excited that I did not die in the fall that we did not realize that when I came down I reached for the door frame with my hand.  I didn’t actually grab the frame, but the wall on the other side of the door, so we have a nice handprint on the white wall of the closet!

I can't believe we didn't see it before it dried!

    I like the blue better and that is a really nice bathroom. Makes you feel like being in a spa!

    wow… you must live in a mansion!!! Glad you didnt get hurt too bad. My bathroom would fit inside your 3 times !!!

    The master bathroom was one of the things that attracted us to the house. Our last bathroom was a hole in the wall about 4′ x 8′ so we really wanted a bigger bathroom. (we fought to much about who got to use the mirror in the last one!)LOL

    The ceiling is really high and really does give the idea of space. The blue really brightens the room up. Glad your o.k and that the fall wasn’t to bad!

    Yes, but olive green is not a good color for anyone in the morning!
