Here’s another set of pictures from our trip to the Whitte museum. These are at the fountain in front of the museum. Brittney was in a particularly jaunty mood – seems like my kids love the water!

We have the biggest bathroom ever! Not only is the room big, but it has 12 foot ceilings which makes it seem even bigger. But the people who lived here before us painted it olive green (great for shirts, bad for walls).Â
So Paul and I decided to paint it a pretty periwinkle blue. I think it makes the room look much bigger and brighter.
While we were painting, I was climbing up the six foot step ladder to do the edging around the ceiling when I lost my balance at the next to top rung. I fell off the ladder, but lucky for me, Paul was standing almost directly beneath me (not so lucky for him). Being the super guy that he is, he reached out and caught me so I did not break my neck (or any other body parts). But he was holding a roller on a long stick and I got a bruise about the size of a dime on my rib from where it hit me.
We were so surprised and excited that I did not die in the fall that we did not realize that when I came down I reached for the door frame with my hand. I didn’t actually grab the frame, but the wall on the other side of the door, so we have a nice handprint on the white wall of the closet!
We went to the Helotes Cornyval last Sunday. Helotes is the suburb just North of where we live. Declan had a great time riding the kids rides. He even went in the fun houses all by himself. Brittney enjoyed the Turkey legs and snow cones!
Yep, he’s gonna love the roller coasters!
