Fiesta is going on this week in San Antonio!

We took the kids to see the River Parade on Monday.  It was a really cool parade.  The floats are created on barges that go down the river, and had themes of different movies. 

Our realator who helped us get our house rented out two rooms at one of the hotels on the river and invited us to come down to see the parade.  In addition to a great view, we had free food and drinks! 

I forgot to bring my camera so you can use your imagination of what the floats looked like, but we are trying to incorporate ourselves into the San Antonio lifestyle.

 Fiesta gone hog wild!

At Declan’s daycare the kids created floats of their own.  Here’s a picture of Declan with his float.  His has Pirates of the Caribean characters and pigs. (not sure why the pigs are there, but he seems to like them.  Maybe he takes after Great Grandpa Sommerer and Pete!)
