Race for the Cure

On Saturday, March 30th the San Antonio Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure took place.  A group of my girlfriends and I participated.  We raised $225 dollars from our donations!!  We had a great time.  We walked the 5K (which is actually 3 miles).  Two of our team members stayed downtown at a hotel.  The city closes the streets at 7am for the race so the rest of us carpooled down to the hotel.  That meant leaving the house by 5:15 so everyone could meet up.  The hotel was great since about 2/3 of the way we all needed a potty break and we were about 1/2 a block from the hotel.  Next year we will probably all be staying at the hotel the night before, 5am is just tooo early!!
